The Bulls will face the Crusaders in Saturday's semi-final of the Super 14 in Orlando Stadium with their most experienced team yet.

Fourteen of the starting line-up have won the Super 14 competition before, with the locking combination of Danie Rossouw and Victor Matfield having played more than a 100 matches of Super Rugby.

Matfield will play in his 100th match for the Bulls.

The suspension of Bakkies Botha gives Matfield and Rossouw another chance to start a match together with Jaco Pretorius who has also been declared fit will join Wynand Olivier in the midfield.

Jaco van der Westhuyzen and Gary Botha, stalwarts of the 2007 win, are back for another bite at a final.

Van der Westhuyzen, who replaces the suspended Gerrit van den Heever, is the only survivor of the Bulls team that lost to the Stormers in Cape Town last weekend.

The Bulls team is:

Zane Kirchner, Jaco van der Westhuyzen, Jaco Pretorius, Wynand Olivier, Francois Hougaard, Morne Steyn, Fourie du Preez, Pierre Spies, Dewald Potgieter, Deon Stegmann, Victor Matfield (c), Danie Rossouw, Werner Kruger, Gary Botha, Gurthro Steenkamp.

Replacements: Bandise Maku, Bees Roux, Flip van der Merwe, Derick Kuün, Jacques-Louis Potgieter, Stephan Dippenaar, Pedrie Wannenburg.
