London Wasps kept their play off hopes alive and put bottom club Worcester Warriors into more relegation trouble when they beat the Worcester club by 20- points to 24 at Sixways.

Struggling with a calf complaint before the match, David Lemi failed fitness test and withdrew from the squad.

In his place scrum half Warren Fury was named on the bench.

Wasps centre Dominic Waldouck ensured an exciting start to the clash as he contributed with a try in the fourth minute to which Worcester could only respond with a penalty through Willie Walker.

The visitors pushed further ahead after 18 minutes thanks to Waldouck's second try of the match and looked comfortably in control of proceedings as Tom Rees went over for their third five-pointer.

However, a try from Warriors flanker Pat Sanderson kept the hosts in touch 13-21 at the break after a conversion and a penalty from Walker.

Cipriani extended Wasps' lead to 11 points after the interval with his first penalty of the match, but Worcester were right back in the clash after the 68th minute.

Warriors' Alex Grove scored his side's second try of the match to bring the hosts to within six points of Wasps before Walker reduced the deficit further with a successful conversion, but in the end the visitors were able to hold on for the win.
