London Irish lost their match 25-27 to the Scarlets at the Madejski Stadium in Reading England on Saturday in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.

The two teams were level at 18 all at half time but Samoan winger Sailosi Tagicakibau ran in his seventh try of the season to give the Exiles sight of victory.

Scarlets were however not done yet and British and Irish Lions flyhalf Stephen Jones kept his team in the hunt with two penalties.

Then with little over a minute remaining, substitute Peter Richards conceded a penalty in front of the posts and Jones landed the decisive kick.

Wales fly-half Jones was in commanding form, kicking 17 points.

Scarlets now lead the group with this result which is a second successive victory.
